Am I required to live in Georgia to receive your services?Although the physical practice is in Georgia, Dr. Camille is licensed to provide telehealth virtually in several states including: Arizona, Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. You must be a permanent resident of one of these states and physically located there at the time of your appointment.
-
Can we meet in person? Are your services only virtual?Currently, all of our meetings are virtual. We find that this makes things more accessible and comfortable for you. You can save time on travel and be seen from the comfort of *almost* anywhere you can get some privacy and a good internet connection.
-
How do we meet with you?For our sessions, we use Simple Practice- a HIPAA compliant video conference software tool.
-
What do I need to bring to or prepare for each session?Always bring a sense of curiosity about who you are and how you got here, a willingness to dig deep, and a readiness to explore what's on your mind. Some folks find it helpful to have a notebook and a pen with them while we connect. Also- a lot of healing work happens outside of our regularly scheduled meetings. This means, how you're showing up, what you're reflecting on, and how committed you are to your own growth during the week is just as important as what happens in the time we spend together. Ask me about creative and individualized "homework" if you're interested!
-
How often can I meet with Dr Camille?Once per week is preferable, especially in the beginning, but we can talk about a weekly or bi-weekly schedule as time progresses.
-
What payment methods are accepted? You can pay for your sessions with credit cards, debit cards, and FSA or HSA accounts. Make sure to verify with your HSA/FSA provider that therapy services are covered and what documentation is required.
-
Can I use my insurance for payment? It depends! If you have Aetna insurance and you are located in Georgia, you can use your in-network benefits via the Headway platform. Be sure to let Dr. Camille know if that is the case to make sure you receive the proper paperwork. We are not in-network with any other insurance companies. If you have any insurance aside from Aetna, or you are not in Georgia, we are happy to provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement for services. *Please note that the reimbursement process is solely under the discretion of your insurance provider. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider to determine what your out-of-network benefits are.
-
What hours of the day and days of the week can I get help?We are available Monday through Friday, during the daytime as well as some evenings, eastern standard time. If you are in a different time zone, be sure to double check that you are selecting an available time that accurately reflects when you want to meet.
-
Do you have weekend availability? We want to make sure that you and your therapist are able to show up as your best selves and in the dedicated mindset for healing. Therefore we are open M-F. You are invited to chat with Dr. Camille to figure out a time that works for you both during those days.
-
I have an emergency and need to speak to someone, ASAP! Can you help me?We do not maintain 24-hour access to this website. Please do not use this website for crisis/emergency contact. If you are having a mental health crisis call 911 IMMEDIATELY or the Georgia Crisis and Access Line at 1-800-715-4225.
